Fantastic new fragrances available in-store this month

Lanvin Marry Me!

Lanvin Marry Me! is a ‘romantic and sensual fragrance, an essence of light-heartedness intended for all who love to feel in love'. It combines notes of Tunisian bitter orange, Sambac jasmine, peach, jasmine tea, magnolia, rose petals, amber and musk. The feminine, modern bottle reinterprets the bow motif in an original, offbeat way, and is crowned by a slightly asymmetrical silver plated cap. A bow of fuchsia satin ribbons enhances the cap with added elegance and delicacy. The chic, cream coloured outer carton is inscribed with the fragrance's name with the flourish of a signature, and embraced with a fuchsia satin ribbon. It is available exclusively at Harvey Nichols from 11-25 September, and selected department stores from October 2010. Rsp from £32, Inter Parfums, 0845 769 7072.

Diptyque Eau Duelle

Diptyque Eau Duelle is an enigmatic amber, woody oriental scent that features two types of vanilla; firnat vanilla, its enthralling sweetness exalted by paradisone - a molecule akin to pure hedione - and by white, sweet musks; and bourbon vanilla, which is slightly smoked and almost syrupy, enhanced with vetiver, African frankincense smoke and Asian cypriol. The fragrance also features a dash of cold spices - cardamom, pink peppercorn and saffron - and juniper essence with fresh cypress and elemi aromatic twinges. The result is a unisex fragrance that represents ‘a narrow escapade between gentleness and character, femininity and virility'. Rsp from £45, Diptyque, www.diptyqueparis.com.

DKNY City Limited Edition EdT ‘captures the energy of the DKNY woman and the city she loves.' Top notes of orange flower, sakura blossom and blackcurrant lead to a heart of freesia, osmanthus, wild orchid and papaya flower. A base of cinnamon wood, patchouli and musk completes the scent, which features a distinct, New York City-inspired bottle. The iconic DKNY skyscraper has been recast in rich purple with a text collage of New York must-visit and cultural destinations such as Central Park, Coney Island and Park Avenue, while the DKNY logo is emblazoned in metallic gold on the front of the bottle. Available exclusively at Boots and www.boots.com from 22 September. Rsp £30, Aramis & Designer Fragrances, www.dknyfragrances.com.

Dolce & Gabbana The One Gentleman

Dolce & Gabbana The One Gentleman is ‘a new fragrance for the contemporary charmer with a spirit of dashing masculinity; the embodiment of modern elegance'. It opens with top notes of pepper and grapefruit, leading to a heart of lavender, fennel and cardamom. A base of patchouli and vanilla completes the scent, which is housed in a refined, understated glass flacon. A gunmetal cap sits on top of the clear bottle, which shows the grey blue juice, while antique gold lettering perfectly complements the stylish storm blue of the outer carton. Actor Matthew McConaughey stars in the advertising. Rsp from £29, P&G Prestige Products UK, www.dolcegabbana.com.

Nina L'Elixir EdP

Nina L'Elixir EdP ‘epitomises the generous and magical world of Nina, in a way that is more sensual and sophisticated but as glistening as ever'. An intense reinterpretation of Nina EdT, it opens with top notes of red toffee apple, jasmine and red berries, leading to a heart of calabria lemon and caipirinha lime. Base notes of cedar wood, cotton musk and warm amber complete the fragrance, which comes in a bottle inspired by the famous Fille d'Eve bottle created by Robert Ricci and Marc Lalique in 1952. The elegant crystalline apple features a gradation of tones, from golden transparency to deep red, while the silver stopper is adorned with mysterious golden leaves. The fragrance launch is being supported with a unique advertising campaign; singer Florrie is the face of the fragrance and also provides the soundtrack to the advertising film, with her cover of Blondie's Sunday Girl. Rsp from £30, Puig UK, 0207 494 6220.
